- Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
- Machinery Operation: Set up and operate press brake and slitter machines to produce parts and components according to specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Measurement Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of measurements using tape measures, micrometers, and protractors to maintain high-quality standards. Capable of converting fractions to decimals, decimals to fractions.
- Material Handling: Safely handle and transport materials using an overhead crane.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet deadlines.
The qualifications and skill requirements for this role include:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Press Brake Slitter Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
