Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Desktop.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Track and report on expenses, ensuring budget adherence.
- Handle general ledger entries and adjustments.
- Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial transactions and discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion and confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
