About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Police Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing laws, preventing crime, and serving the community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain public safety and prevent crime.
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
- Investigate crimes, accidents, and incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Prepare detailed reports for court and departmental use.
- Engage with the community through outreach and education programs.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- At least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice is a plus.
- Certification by the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission or currently enrolled in a Florida-approved law enforcement academy.
- Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
