Position Description
The Grants Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service and technical support for Child Care programs applying for the Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program (GSCSPP) and administering the CDA Awards and Foreign Credential Evaluation programs. This position works collaboratively with the Financial Supports Coordinator and assists in documenting procedures, creating reports and developing efficient practices for Technical Assistance. The Grants Coordinator is part of the Financial Supports team and reports to the Director of Financial Supports.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Serve as the first point of contact for GSCSPP recipients; providing timely and accurate customer support and information on the program.
· Provide customer service and resolve or appraise cases around application, payments, reporting requirements, and other GSCSPP related needs
· Use available technology to call and email child care programs
· Utilize SalesForce to escalate problems that are beyond the scope of work
· Communicate with child care programs to enlist their participation in surveys and new functionality

2. Collect data and assist with development, implementation and regular review of current procedures and functions.
· Collect and analyze data to create required reports using given templates
· Document all contacts, cases, and outreach efforts for tracking and other related processes
· Review and provide input on Procedure Manual in accordance with current practices
· Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures
· Participate in or provide feedback to project testing stages

3. Administer the CDA Awards program and the Foreign Credential Evaluation program, including data collection, program evaluation and reporting.
· Oversee the application processes for CDA and FCE and review applications and documents to ensure quality and consistency.
· Maintain written internal procedures of the grants processes.
· Update program information and instructions on the website.
· Create and disseminate program evaluations and produce reports summarizing results.
· Work collaboratively with other Child Care Aware Departments to ensure that programs meet the needs of child care professionals.

4. Support the organization’s mission, vision, strategic plan and anti-racism goals by participating in activities and professional development opportunities.
· Participate in staff meetings, workgroups, or taskforces to assist with achieving the organization’s goals
· Assist CCA with implementing the organization's strategic plans by embedding the goals into the everyday work
· Participate in professional development activities to strengthen your understanding and skills around diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism

Qualifications
· Associate degree or equivalent and one year of related work experience
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
· Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and SalesForce
· Independent worker/comfortable working with staff in remote locations
· Knowledge and understanding of child care and workforce issues
· Ability to communicate with diverse organizations and people
· Demonstrated ability in intercultural competency skills and experience working cross-culturally and experience incorporating skills and principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism into your work and the work of others OR Ability to engage, learn, and develop diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism skills and principles into your work

Working Conditions:
· Full-time, non-exempt, permanent position
· Flexible scheduling, with occasional non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends
· Family-friendly work culture

· May require sitting or stationary position for extended periods of time
· Occasional travel within metro area

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation
· Hiring range $43,617 - $51,251, potential salary range depending on qualifications plus an additional $2,000/year for lifestyle (pro-rated for part-time employees)
