What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-K Teacher position at Child Care Services?

If you answered yes, then Sunflower Station Preschool may be the place for you. We are accepting applications for a full time Pre- K teacher and a part time Twos teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare center
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
Requirements: Must be 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent. Staff must meet all DHR Childcare Licensing requirements including a background check.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education or daycare is a plus, but we are willing to train
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and co workers
- Passion for child welfare and a genuine desire to educate young children
- Ability to create a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques
