The Building Service Worker/Maintenance is responsible for cleaning the center in a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. The service worker will follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules including but not limited to classrooms, kitchen, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas and entrances. Must have a valid Driver's license, be able to pass a physical exam and be able to comply with a background check.
Other duties include:
- Collect and bag all garbage from Center
- Wash and sanitize bathroom fixtures
- Wet mop all washable floors daily
- Wash bathrooms, kitchen, classrooms and other windows and walls as scheduled or needed
- Vacuums all carpeting on a regular basis, wash classroom rugs as indicated, sweep and clear entrance spaces daily
- Clean and maintain all light fixtures
- Dust, wash and sanitize other surfaces
- Refills paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers
- Change light bulbs as needed
- Perform rough finish carpentry and drywall tasks
- Perform building surroundings and playground lawn mowing and snow removal
- Perform rough finish carpentry and drywall tasks
- Perform other Duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
