What are the responsibilities and job description for the School-Based Client Support Specialist position at Child & Family Agency?
Child and Family Agency of SE CT (CFA) is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing compassionate care for children, adolescents, and their families. We are looking for a dynamic, flexible individual to join our team as a Client Support Specialist to support the medical services team in our School-Based Health Center Programming and our outpatient medical clinics. This position will be on site at our New London Outpatient location.
Primary Duties:
- Registering new clients for outpatient and/or school-based medical services
- Administrative task to include telephone calls, faxes, copies, scanning, and monitoring of electronic forms for medical providers at both remote and on-site locations
- Assist in appointment scheduling and/or rescheduling for medical providers at both remote and on-site locations
- Utilization of Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, Email)
- Managing charts in electronic health record (EHR)
- Support overall operations through participation in program-specific projects as assigned by leadership team
