A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) was founded in 1972 to support and nurture our community’s most vulnerable children and families. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our service area.
CFA is seeking a full-time Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner to join a team of nurse practitioners passionate about providing high-quality medical care focused on preventative services and health education of students, families, schools, and communities. Will be working on-site in a school-based health center collaboratively with a mental health clinician to provide a holistic approach to care.
We are looking for candidates interested in a full-time position to provide medical services to children in our School Based Health Centers in one of our New London locations. This is a reduced (145 day) position to align with coverage during the school year.
Qualifications:
Graduation from accredited school of nursing; Current APRN license as a PNP or FNP to work in Connecticut; CT RN license required; Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required. DNP clinical doctoral degree preferred. National certification required. Applicants must be able to perform tasks independently with minimal direct supervision. Position also requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
