GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
Provides direction, consultation, leadership and technical assistance to program directors overseeing a broad range of agency programs throughout specifically assigned area. Assists the Chief Executive Officer in implementation of strategic and organizational planning and business development in the region. Ensures that programs are operated in an effective manner and meet all agency, contractual and accreditation requirements. Represents the agency in a positive, professional manner at all meetings, public events, agency events, and other agency / program related activities.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Supervises and supports Program Directors in implementation of goals and objectives of agencies programs and services.
- Provides leadership in organizational initiatives linked to strategic planning, improvement activities, and accreditation.
- Actively participates in local, state, and regional efforts which impact the success of the organization.
- Assists the CEO in community development activities.
- Researches appropriate fund sources for program operations and develops grants with Program Directors.
- Develops and implements performance outcomes by which program services can be measured.
- Participates in the Senior Leadership Team of the agency.
- Confers with area program staff to maintain program, contractual and fiscal funding requirements.
- Confers with other Regional Directors to formulate training programs and schedules based on knowledge of identified training needs, budgets, and program resources.
- Facilitates the use of staff expertise across programmatic and geographic boundaries.
- Represents Agency in community, locally and statewide.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborative partners.
- Participates and takes leadership role in CQI Committee.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in Human Services or related field and four years supervisory experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing multiple programs and funding sources.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Ability to independently write and coordinate grant requests.
- Ability to motivate and support staff.
- Knowledge of community network in early childhood, youth, and family support services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Experience building diverse and effective alliances, particularly with key stakeholders and leaders from Partner agencies around the state and in Government agencies.
- Must be able to support programs throughout the State.
- Comply with all agency and program policies and procedures including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage, and dress code.
- Meet program / department’s performance and productivity standards.
- Attend required agency and program / department meetings.
- Adhere to the schedule agreed upon with the supervisor.
- Follow and model CFR’s core values.
- Participate in PQI initiatives.
- Must be eligible and able to obtain a Level one fingerprint card.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, vehicle and meet agency liability insurance requirements.
- Sitting for extended periods of time daily; standing and walking short distances.
- Moderate twisting, bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 pounds in the performance of assigned duties.
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines as referenced.
- Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination required.
- Repeated hand-wrist movement required.
- The Pay Rate for this position starts at $95,000 to $100,000 annually.

Salary : $95,000 - $100,000
