We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during the route.
- Keep accurate records of passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Follow schedules closely while remaining flexible to accommodate changes as needed.
Experience
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements is required.
- Previous experience in bus driving or school bus driving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to write reports and maintain clear records as required by company policies.
- A commitment to safety and a clean driving record are essential for this position.
