Job Summary For Rapid Response Licensed Clinical Supervisor
To provide day-to-day supervision to the team, ensuring quality clinical services, efficient business practices and engaged customer services are delivered; to provide high quality therapeutic evaluation, assessment and counseling to children in need of immediate mental health and/or substance abuse community services. The program diverts children from the CCSU placement whenever possible and refers them, instead, to the least restrictive appropriate treatment.

Job Summary For Rapid Response Licensed Clinical Supervisor
To provide day-to-day supervision to the team, ensuring quality clinical services, efficient business practices and engaged customer services are delivered; to provide high quality therapeutic evaluation, assessment and counseling to children in need of immediate mental health and/or substance abuse community services. The program diverts children from the CCSU placement whenever possible and refers them, instead, to the least restrictive appropriate treatment.
- Answers and triages calls from referral sources and designates the assessments to other Rapid Response team members.
- Reviews and analyzes a variety of management reports to ensure staff meets administrative, productivity and billing goals.
- Leads the team in accepting and adapting to changes in assignments, priorities and new job information.
- Responds to intervention calls by physically reporting to the crisis site to assess and evaluate the child in need of immediate mental health services.
Education and Experience Requirements for Rapid Response Licensed Clinical Supervisor:
- Conferred Master’s degree in the social work, therapeutic mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy disciplines
- A current FL LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.
- Three or more years experience providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents and developing treatment plans based on ICD-10/DSM-IV diagnoses.
- Intermediate computer skills are required, such as inputting at least 45 cwpm and familiarity with spread sheets and Microsoft Outlook Suite.
- Reliable transportation with liability insurance, a FL driver’s license and good driving record.
- Available to respond to crisis calls after regular business hours and on weekends.
- In addition to the license, at least one year post-licensed experience providing therapeutic services to children and/or families and developing treatment plans based on current DSM diagnoses is preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is also preferred.
