Intakes Only Therapist - Cuyahoga Falls

INTAKES ONLY THERAPIST – PART TIME

Join our team and provide quality behavioral health care in our Cuyahoga Falls office - flexible schedule available!

We are looking for a qualified, compassionate individual to work part-time (5-29 hours weekly) doing Intakes for our clients. Reporting to the Clinical Site Manager, the Intakes-Only Therapist conducts initial mental health evaluations and treatment planning for children, adolescents and adults. Services include mental health assessments, creation of initial treatment plans, referrals for ongoing services, and maintaining clients during transfer process.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts mental health assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives for clients
• Creates and implements treatment plans to ensure clients have identified individualized goals
• Collaborates with client collaterals (teachers, probation officers, protective services workers, etc.) when needed
• Identifies client needs and carries out referrals to both internal and external resources
• Maintains client for initial treatment while waiting for transfer to new clinician when necessary
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• LPCC, LISW, or IMFT licensure required
• At least six months providing therapy services through internship or other field experience required
• Ability to think critically and utilize problem-solving skills; strong ethical decision-making skills required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
