Demand and Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for using data analysis to forecast future demand, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate production and procurement activities to ensure efficient supply chain operations by analyzing sales trends, market factors, historical data, and customer forecasting to accurately predict future needs, collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align supply with demand.
Responsibilities:
· Gather and analyze datasets from various sources including sales history, marketing campaigns / trends / promotional activities, customer provided forecast reports, and other relevant factors to create accurate demand forecast for all finished products / vendor supplied components and raw materials.
· Using demand forecasts to determine optimal inventory levels, considering factors such as lead times, safety stock, and potential disruptions.
· Collaborating with Operations Team and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials based on forecasted demand, managing purchase orders and vendor relationships.
· Gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources i.e. ERP system, market research, customer supplied forecast reports, to identify patterns and trends impacting demand.
· Creating reports and dashboard to communicate key insights on demand and supply performance to stakeholders.
· Working closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
· Utilizing statistical modeling techniques and forecasting tools to improve accuracy of demand predictions.
· Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and proactively taking corrective actions to mitigate risks.
· Working with the Operations Team on adjusting Purchase Orders as deemed necessary based on change in operations and / or demand.
· Managing vendor supplied components such as labels, cartons, raw materials and work with Operations Team on placing Purchase Orders for additional components as needed.
· Work with the Regulatory Team on labeling requirements for various countries ensuring inventory on hand based on customer forecast reports and / or sales history.
· Utilize ERP system to effectively manage inventory needs and procurement flow.
Experience / Training / Education / Abilities:
· Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent field experience.
· 3 years of experience in procurement / supply in manufacturing and / or distribution.
· Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
· Understanding of supply chain principles and operations
· ERP systems experience.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Excellent planning, organization, leadership, presentation, analytical, and reasoning skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
