What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Resource Center Manager (Bilingual) position at Child Parent Institute?
The Bilingual Family Resource Center (FRC) Manager is responsible for all of the programs that operate under the Family Resource Center umbrella. This position supervises staff working in Supervised/Supported Visitation, Resource Family Training, Resource Assistance — which provides oversight of the Intensive Case Management Diaper Project, Basic Needs Program, and Food Pantry Program — and Front Desk positions.
This position will help grow the services within the Family Resource Center as well as collaborate with partners in the community. This position is responsible for ensuring that all contract/grant requirements are met including scopes of work, data collection & reporting, as well as performing community outreach. This position is also responsible for managing facility operations and maintenance of our two buildings.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum three years’ experience in managing non-profit social services or mental health related programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in developing and presenting training materials.
- Training and familiarity with the Triple P Positive Parenting Program.
- Knowledge/experience with domestic violence; parenting issues, child development and family resources.
- Knowledge and experience in working with diverse populations, utilizing culturally competent, strength-based strategies.
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with staff in a manner that is flexible and supportive yet ensures accountability
- Ability to work in partnership with a strong leadership and a committed staff with high standards.
- Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Zoom, etc.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports staff to deliver trauma informed, evidence based services for parents and children.
- Oversees data collection and prepares detailed reports on program efficacy and outcomes.
- Ensures all licensing and compliance regulations are met.
- Ensures consistency with professional ethics, laws and agency policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with HR to recruit and hire new staff; conducts interviews and manages orientation and training process.
- Conducts regular check-ins with staff to evaluate performance.
- Conducts coaching, progressive discipline and employment termination meetings.
- Coordinates training, conferences and other related educational opportunities for program staff.
- Creates teamwork among program staff, support staff and the administrative and management teams in order to best carry out and meet the goals of the agency.
- Attends relevant community meetings and performs outreach to build and maintain relationships with partner organizations.
- Participates in CPI leadership team meetings.
- Communicates with vendors and contractors with respect to building maintenance and operations of the physical plant.

- Ability to lift 25 lbs (supplies)
- Prolonged sitting and working on a computer and telephone.
