What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Office Manager position at Childcare Consultants of Ohio?
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors in a professional manner
- Provide visitors with information and direct them accordingly
- Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party
- Monitor and process payroll
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute office supplies as necessary
- Enroll Students
- Support Teachers and Director with Admin tasks
- Coordinate and schedule tours and meetings
- Collect and document payments
- Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and conducting research
- Qualifications for Office Assistant
- High level of technological capacity / flexibility
- Proficient in Google suite.
*** Must have reliable transportation and able to attend paid training at our Akron / Canton/ Barberton centers on Occasion.
Previous experience as a school secretary or in a school / childcare center is ideal.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role in a school.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
- Committed to education and supporting children to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
