Job Overview
The Proof of Impact (POI) Manager is someone who brings a heart full of joy and excitement for sharing what God is doing through programs. They have a deeply relational approach to their work, connecting meaningfully with field staff, the U.S. team, partners, and donors. With excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, the POI Manager ensures that the impact of our work is accurately and compellingly documented through media that reflects God’s work. Their discerning eye helps differentiate impactful images and stories from those that fall short, ensuring that every piece of POI tells a story that resonates. This role also establishes guidelines, manages all media, serves as the primary point of contact for field staff, and ensures timely high-quality, and properly labeled media submissions, organizing these assets in Google Drive. The POI Manager works closely with various departments to uphold the integrity and authenticity of our impact documentation, serving both our donors and internal teams.
Job Key Responsibilities
- Guideline Establishment: Develop and implement guidelines for capturing and submitting Proof of Impact media that accurately reflects the work God is doing through our programs.
- Media Management: Oversee the collection, organization, and storage of photos and videos in Google Drive with strict attention to detail, ensuring all media is properly labeled and accessible.
- Scheduling & Automation: Create a POI deliverable schedule based on personas and oversee the automated distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Relational Communication: Build strong, trusting relationships with field staff, serve as their primary contact for POI questions, and meet regularly to foster connection and collaboration. Additionally, communicate with the U.S. team, partners, and donors in a relational, meaningful way.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure media submissions meet quality standards and align with the heart of our mission, reflecting God’s work. Have an eye for what makes a photo or video truly impactful.
- Training and Support: Provide field staff with practical training on video production, and photography, offering advice that helps them capture the most compelling and impactful content.
- Digital Asset Management: Research and recommend DAM tools to support organizational growth and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, fundraising, sponsorship, and donor care departments to ensure consistent and accurate documentation of our impact.
- Champion Values: Uphold and promote the value of “we do what we say we do” throughout the POI management process.
