International program coordinator

We’re looking for a Program Coordinator to support with ChildFund’s program portfolio. Your work will be vital in shaping our vision of global, community-led action.

 

How?

  • You’ll coordinate the delivery of project cycle management milestones with Country Offices and partners, including project appraisal processes, tracking project implementation, supporting high quality reporting and ongoing risk management;
  • You’ll conduct basic project financial management and administration tasks including overseeing budgeting, financial due diligence, reviewing project acquittals and addressing variances, basic financial capacity strengthening, and spot-checking;
  • You’ll work with offshore Country Offices and partners to ensure compliance with our Program Handbook, donor requirements and related policies including but not limited to risk management, Anti-Fraud and Corruption, Child Protection, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Harassment
  • And through it all, you’ll commit to constantly learning and supporting our team to learn with you.

What skills and experience will you bring?

You’ll have:

  • Current knowledge and minimum 3 years’ experience in the international development sector, with a strong understanding of the Australian aid sector and ability to navigate relationships in different cultural settings;
  • Experience supporting and coordinating high quality project design, monitoring and evaluation processes;
  • Strong project management, financial administration, budgeting and communication skills, and
  • Experience in partnership management within an INGO setting.

Ideally, you’ll also have experience with DFAT funded programming and child rights programming.

 

This role is a permanent, part time or full time role, based in our office in Surry Hills, Sydney.
