ChildNet, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit community-based care (CBC) agency servicing Broward and Palm Beach County. We are contracted with the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, to provide case management support to abused, abandoned, and neglected children. ChildNet is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and employs over 450 staff at its location in Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Florida.
Job Summary: This position processes bills and payments for accounts payable and accounts receivable which may include Foster Board payments, school clothing vouchers, Adoption subsidies, Independent Living stipends and related client expenses captured the State designated official system of record.

- Perform verification and reconciliation tasks for invoices, receipts, balances according to department checks and balances procedures.
- Maintain adherence to generally accepted accounting standards and principles. Practice maintenance of proper audit trails and verification and reconciliation actions for all processed work.
- Processes monthly direct client payment batches for Foster Board Adoptions, Independent Living via FSFN to be vouchered by accounts payable.
- Generates system reports and audits calculations for accuracy in system and invoice payment.
- Issue redeterminations, credits, and approval correspondences to adoptive and foster parents for ongoing maintenance of eligibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/ Requirements:
Years of Experience:
- Three (3) years of database management experience
- One (1) year of Child Welfare experience
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- High School Diploma
- Associate degree preferred.
