The HRIS Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity and providing support to HR staff and end users.
HRIS Management:
- Administer and maintain the HRIS database, including but not limited to data entry, auditing, and cleanup.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data by reviewing and updating records.
- Manage system configurations, including user permission, workflows and custom fields.
- Oversees audit of employee onboarding and HRIS set up.
- Train employees and managers on HRIS features.
- Manage (system wide) employee review processes.
- Audit HR documentation and transactions and verify accuracy of manual changes made to the HR system through workflows.
- Manage employee document storage in the system.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Create and manage system reporting for a wide range of Human Resources functions, including Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting.
- Generate required annual, quarterly or ad-hoc reporting for government agency and legal compliance, such as EEO-1 and OSHA reporting.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns and insights to inform strategic HR initiatives.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Compliance and Data Security:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data security policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee data and sensitive HR information.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to HR data management and compliance.
System Support and Troubleshooting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact the HRIS related inquiries and technical support to the benefits and payroll team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data entry, system functionality and integration with other HR systems.
- Collaborate with IT or external vendors to address technical issues and implement system enhancements.
Manage additional projects that advance the HR department’s strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- Two years’ experience as an HRIS administrator. Implementation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS software systems (UKG preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data
- Advance skills in MS Excel, MS Office, Power BI experience a plus
- Knowledge of HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, payroll, benefits, administration and compliance.
- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and excellent judgment in successfully navigating sensitive issues.
