Classroom Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students. Our program provides tutoring, mentoring and life skills. The part-time classroom instructor will work with elementary students to present academic enrichment, character development and more.

Duties

• Develop and implement lessons on subject areas as designated by CAP curriculum (Civics).
• Facilitate interactive and stimulating classroom discussions that encourage student participation.
• Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to promote growth.
• Help develop and encourage a strong work ethic and character both inside and outside the classroom.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree desired; associate degree accepted.
• Previous teaching experience or instructional roles is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology and educational tools to enhance learning experiences.
• A genuine passion and commitment to student success.
• Must pass a background check including fingerprinting through the TBI.
