Description
Not your ordinary childcare setting! We have a variety of support systems for the children and their families in our daycare center. We offer an onsite behavioral health therapist within our behavioral health/therapy department for the children, physical and occupational therapy and learning models to assist children with success in school. We are especially interested in those that have or are willing to obtain within 18 months of hire, their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). If you are bi-lingual, that is a plus!
- Pay range $15.50-$16.50 depending on applicant qualifications and classroom program assigned to (Early Headstart).

Pre-School Infant Lead Childcare Teacher Example of Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn, follow and implement the required Frogstreet Pre-k Creative curriculum.
- Evaluate, monitor and maintain records on children's development.
- Work independently and as a team member with all center staff to provide total care of the child.
- Actively participate in staff meetings to identify and address program objectives. Attend classes, workshops and professional development opportunities as required.
- Develop a relationship with the children and family to help identify solutions and make progress toward goals.
- Follow Health and Human Services childcare criteria/requirements.
- Maintain a high-quality rating of the IQ4K (Iowa Quality for Kids).

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma required with a preference for those who are willing to obtain the required childhood development associate credential within 18 months of hire. An associate degree or enrolled in, early childhood education, adult, child and family services or child development preferred.
