We are seeking a licensed therapist to serve our clients and join a supportive behavioral health clinical team. This position works under the general direction of the assigned clinical supervisor and is responsible for professional therapy/counseling to individuals, groups and families.
Salaried exempt role with paid time off and insurance benefits.

Sample Job Duties:
- Provide professional trauma-informed therapy to clients, ages zero throughout the lifespan, as needed and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the program in which the client is being served. Includes, but is not limited to, ongoing professional in-office therapy/counseling as needed for individuals, families and/or groups to resolve issues driving treatment.
- Perform all necessary record keeping and reporting functions as required to adhere to agency and external requirements. Includes, but is not limited to the following: Develop and maintain goal-oriented treatment plans; correspondence with other agencies, programs, clients and collateral contacts; therapy notation and therapy discharge summaries to identify and address treatment plans and effective quality care. Coordinate clinical aspects of assigned program areas to ensure efficient facilitation.
- Determine the need for and coordinate community resources and referrals to aid the family in therapy goal attainment.
- Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and trainings developed by the mental health team in order to assist in professional growth. Participate in consistent case consultation in order to provide the most effective treatment for clients.
- Behavioral Health Clinicians work at least one evening per week to support enhanced availability for clients.
- Willingness to build up rapport with clients and accomplish a caseload to obtain 25 billable hours per week.

Requirements
Master's degree in social work, counseling or closely related human services field with appropriate experience in family counseling, counseling individuals, or closely related counseling field that ensures adequate understanding of human dynamics at a professional level. Must have a foundation of trauma-informed care and/or willingness to attend trauma-informed trainings and practice from this philosophy. Licensed, or soon to be licensed to practice in the state of Iowa. Candidates with a diverse background and ability to speak other languages encouraged to apply!
