Job Description Summary:
Are you a handyman and enjoy taking care of little “household” tasks? Do you enjoy volunteering or maybe you are looking for your first opportunity to volunteer your talents within the community?
If so, Children of the Nations may have the perfect opportunity for you as a Facility Volunteer! We need someone to assist our organization in managing all the little random issues and tasks that arise on our Silverdale campus.
Job Description Detail:
You are a great candidate for this Volunteer position if you can:
- Maintain safe and operable Facility tools (lawnmower, hedge clippers, etc)
- Complete general building maintenance tasks (securing loose deckboards, address door, lock, or window issues, or minor lighting/electrical tasks)
- Assess maintenance needs of roofing, exterior building repairs, etc
- Complete other tasks as needed
- Maintain list of open items that can also be given to others on volunteer days

Compensation:
- Volunteer position approximately 2-6 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
- All hours served count as community service hours and can be used to fulfill college credit requirements
