What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator, Disability Support Services position at Children's Aid and Family Services, Inc.?
Function:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing the scheduling and staffing needsof all DSS locations, ensuring adequate and qualified personnel are available to provide care and support to members.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors schedules for group homes and day program
- Maintains an accurate list of current staff, their shifts, and their assigned locations
- Maintains an accurate list of available per diem staff
- Creates and maintains relationships with key staffing partners
- Works closely with Residential Managers, Directors, and Administrators to ensure appropriate staffing levels. This may include proactively scheduling replacement staff for vacations, illness, and leaves of absence
- Review staffing levels by location daily and report results to management
- Reviews and manages overtime
- Approve hours for agency staff and allocate hours by location
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum: High School Diploma with 2-3 years’ similar administrative experience in an office setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, Human Resources, and external agencies
- Strong computer knowledge and skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite products
- Must exhibit highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Ability to effectively work with people of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to effectively work as a member of a team
