What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller position at CHILDREN'S BONE AND SPINE SURGERY?
We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding in medical billing processes, insurance guidelines, and claim resolution. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks within appropriate deadline.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Utilize CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.
- Interpret EOB, authorization and referrals for proper claim submissions.
- Review and appeal unpaid or denied claims for accurate reimbursement.
- Charge and Payment posting with attention to detail.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Knowledge of commercial and government insurance providers.
- Maintain compliance with all billing regulations and guidelines.
