JOB TYPE: Respite Care Specialist:
LOCATION: Salisbury, Maryland
SCHEDULE: New employees will work in person in the office for a 30-60 day period then transition to a hybrid schedule which includes 3 remote working days per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Experience working with families in social services context
- Program Coordinating experience
- Valid driver's license with properly registered and insured vehicle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Development of a respite service plan for each client and assist each client to implement that plan
- Assess the needs of families requesting respite and develop service plans to meet those needs
- Counsel clients as needed during respite stay
- Maintain accurate, detailed, current case records and prepare a quarterly report on each client on assigned caseload and aid in the periodic staff review of each client’s progress of classification, privileges and case progression.
- Report emergencies to after-hours workers
- Some travel to the Children's Choice Baltimore location; travel expenses reimbursed
