Rehabilitation Specialists, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Aide to support our professional therapy team and assist clients in their rehabilitation process.
Job Summary:
As a Rehabilitation Aide, you will help prepare clients for physical therapy treatments, assist licensed professionals during therapy sessions, and provide routine treatments under supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a caring nature and a desire to work in the medical field.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in the medical field or direct client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with dressing, undressing, and using supportive devices before and after therapy.
- Safely secure clients onto therapy equipment.
- Support and motivate clients during exercises and functional activities under professional supervision.
- Transport clients to and from treatment areas.
- Administer routine treatments such as hydrotherapy, hot/cold packs, and paraffin baths.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area and equipment.
- Manage inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by licensed therapy professionals.
