About the role!
About the role!
This role supports Community Engagement activities with event planning, logistics, data gathering, tracking and reporting as well as other administrative duties. This role includes effective communication with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to help steward those relationships and further develop CHC as a thought leader in our local community as well as the larger community.
- This is a TEMPORARY position, contracted through the end of FY25.
As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be involved with:
Podcasting
- Schedule podcast guests.
- Communicate with podcast guests.
Community Ed events
- Respond to requests.
- Gather critical information from the requestor.
- Discuss opportunity with appropriate staff.
- Work with Manager/Director to identify CHC staff to present/speak.
- Work with requestor on logistics (date, time, in person, Zoom, registration – Eventbrite, survey feedback). Support speaker
- - share PPT template, review finished slide deck to add CHC specific slides/info; ensure speaker is comfortable talking about CHC. Data
- - gather and track data related to Community Ed events (registration, attendance, topics, requestors, speakers etc.). Fee-based Community Ed events
- - work with Outreach manager to identify and confirm fee-based events (many of the same steps as outlined above).
School engagement
- Gather all school information in one place including (includes updating CRM when it is created).
- School name/district name
- School contact names/roles
- Past conversations, events etc.
- Follow up as needed
School Liaisons
- Work with Outreach Manager to expand School Liaisons.
- Work with marketing/web team to keep website/School Liaison webpages current.
- Develop School Liaison Newsletter monthly with input from appropriate sources/staff.
- Gather and track all School Liaisons including:
- Name, school, role
- Identify schools where we need School Liaisons
Collaboratives
- Logistics support: dates of meetings, eventbrite, zoom set up (including break out groups), hybrid meetings, in person meetings (reserve room, work with facilities on room set up, work with IT on tech needed)
- Gather and track School Counselors and Wellness Specialists and Learning Specialists
- Name, school, role
- Develop communication schedule for Collaboratives; work with marketing to send emails to group and keep lists current
- Design and send surveys as needed
- Gather and track data including
- Registration
- Attendance
- Survey feedback
- Gather and track all members of Leadership Collaborative including
- Name, organization, role
- Design and send surveys as needed.
- Logistics support: dates of meetings, eventbrite, zoom set up (including break out groups), hybrid meetings, in person meetings (reserve room, work with facilities on room set up, work with IT on tech needed).
Other events
- Work with managers to support other planned events (such as Temple Grandin event, LD School heads retreat day, any in person CHC sponsored community ed events)
- Wellness Fairs- work with manager and marketing to prepare materials for the fairs based on audience, help staff/attend some fairs

About your background (education/experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
- Knowledge or experience with organizing planned events.
- Adept with using technology as tool and resource.
Working Conditions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods and perform work at a computer workstation.
- May be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
Special Requirements:
- Work in office 80% of work week
- 40 Hour work week, with at least 4 days/week in office.
- Attend events as needed (some weekends may be required)
- This is a TEMP position, contacted through FY25.
Compensation:
Range: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Pay Type: hourly
- The starting hourly rate for this position is as shown above. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
