Children's Health (Dallas) is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a Nurse Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and developmentally appropriate care to high-risk behavioral patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a psychiatric resource to the bedside teams by providing clinical support and monitoring compliance with system policies, guidelines, and documentation.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients with mental health needs in acute care, ICU, and ED areas.
- Respond to behavioral emergencies throughout the hospital and collaborate with the interdisciplinary BERT team to ensure patient and staff safety.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Psych Resource related experience.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
