Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Outpatient Mental Health

Overview
We are a compassionate outpatient mental health clinic serving East Texas with a focus on accessibility, affordability, and exceptional care. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to supporting the emotional wellness of individuals and families in our community. We are seeking a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team and provide medication management and psychiatric support in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
• Diagnose and manage mental health conditions across the lifespan
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Coordinate care with therapists and other staff members
• Maintain accurate documentation in our EHR system
• Participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing collaboration
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional standards

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in Texas
• DEA license (or eligibility)
• Ability to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week (Gun Barrel City and/or Canton clinic, other location in Forney coming soon)
• Experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Comfortable working with clients across the lifespan
• Must live within 45 miles
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR)
• **Prefer at least one year of experience but will consider new grads if the right fit

Schedule:

• Flexible hybrid model (minimum 2 in-person days required)
• No weekends or major holidays
• Must be available some evening hours (flexible)

Compensation:

• Competitive pay based on experience (W2 hourly starting at $60 per patient hour or 1099 starting at $75 per patient hour)
