Summary
Responsible for the provision of routine patient accounting activity to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Performs all routine billing and collections activity to ensure account integrity and appropriate reimbursement.
- Resolves routine customer service issues and assists with questions on reimbursement.
- Participates in team-oriented process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates compliance with performance and quality standards.
- Demonstrates compliance with third party contracts, guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates The Children's Way values and behaviors.
Work Experience
- At least 1 year healthcare or related experience Required
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft financial and word processing programs. Required
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience Preferred
- HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
