Shift: Full-Time- Days working Monday to Friday

Job Type: Remote, but there will be some required onsite attendance

Summary

Responsible for the provision of routine patient accounting activity to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all routine billing and collections activity to ensure account integrity and appropriate reimbursement.
  • Resolves routine customer service issues and assists with questions on reimbursement.
  • Participates in team-oriented process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates compliance with performance and quality standards.
  • Demonstrates compliance with third party contracts, guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates The Children's Way values and behaviors.

How You’ll Be Successful

Work Experience

  • At least 1 year healthcare or related experience Required
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft financial and word processing programs. Required

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
