RN Fellowship
The RN Fellowship Program is for experienced (1 year ) clinical RNs looking to change specialties. Whether you are looking to move from adults to pediatrics, or from any clinical setting into a critical care, cardiology, hematology, or oncology setting, our RN Fellowship Program is designed to assist you on that journey and help you grow within your nursing career.
Highlighted Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating patient care. Uses clinical judgment based on nursing skills acquired through formal and informal experiential knowledge and evidence-based guidelines to globally assess the patient's situation and through critical thinking and clinical decision making, develop an appropriate plan of care for the patient, with the aim of promoting comfort.
- Collaborates with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to assist in developing and implementing an appropriate plan of care in a way that promotes/encourages each person's contributions towards achieving the best patient outcomes.
- Accountable that patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations.
- Organizes care delivered by patient care team, coordinates plan of care.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have at least a year of clinical experience as an RN
- Required: Current Texas RN license upon hire
- Required: The American Heart Association BLS Provider upon hire

· Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
