Job Overview
The Echocardiography Education Specialist is responsible for overseeing the education and training of sonographers, fellows, physicians, students, and preceptees in pediatric echocardiography. This role involves mentoring and providing instruction on advanced cardiac ultrasound techniques, as well as managing the education program for the echo lab. The Specialist performs echocardiograms on patients ranging from neonatal to adult, focusing on congenital heart disease, and assists with complex cases and cardiovascular malformations.
