Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills for their future learning. Schedule would be Monday -Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm. We're off all major holidays and 1 week in the summer.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive activities, play, and structured lessons.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a clean, organized classroom space.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to create engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of children.
