- The Director role is a partner and will report to the franchise owner, with a clear focus on helping to grow and make the business successful.
- The role comes with a great base salary and benefits.
- Must meet State Minimum Standard requirements for a Center Director.
- Prior experience as a manager in a licensed child-care center is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field is preferred.
- Must maintain CPR and First Aid.
- Implements Children’s Lighthouse policies, procedures and systems to ensure safe, healthy environment in compliance with state standards at all times.
- Maximizes enrollment and maintains parent satisfaction.
- Maintains compliance and implements changes for continuous improvement.
- Recruits, hires, trains, supervises and evaluates staff.
- Manages budget in compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Plans and participates responsibly in marketing and special events.
- Represents Children’s Lighthouse to the community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrity.
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Ability to communicate with, motivate others, analyze and solve problems, fostering a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of state and local standards.
- Knowledge of early child development and appropriate practices.
