What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Director position at Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center?
Education and Experience:
- Has a minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Director in a licensed childcare center.
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field preferred
- Meets State Requirements for a State license as a School Director, preferably with a non-renewable certificate.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements Children’s Lighthouse policies, procedures, and systems to ensure safe, healthy environment in compliance with Children’s Lighthouse and State Standards at all times.
- Plans and participates responsibly in marketing and special events.
- Maximize occupancy of building. (Enrollment)
- Impacts change required for continual compliance and improvement.
- Recruits, hires, orients, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
- Manages budget in compliance with Franchisee guidelines.
- Represents Children’s Lighthouse to public, community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrity.
- Attends/conducts meetings and trainings as directed.
- Consistently follows through and completes all duties and responsibilities as assigned in a competent and timely manner.
- Day to day operations in compliance with quality standards of Children's Lighthouse.
- Wise productive use of time.
- Able to accept and handle change.
- Accepts instruction and direction in an appropriate manner.
- Able to work flexible hours.

- The School Director reports to the Franchisee.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
