Overview :
Work with staff in assigned department to ensure that patients and families have an extraordinary experience by assisting with stocking of supplies, cleanliness of common areas and patient diversionary activities.

Qualifications for Project RISE
A person with a disability who identifies of having a physical or mental impairment, which creates a barrier to employment, and who needs Supported Employment services to reach successful employment.
We expect that individuals are able to perform assigned tasks independently after the supported employment period.
What is Supported Employment : Support Employment is ongoing supports provided to individuals and their employers who, because of their disabilities, need intensive on-going support to maintain a job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting.
This is achieved by providing on-the-job training in work and work-related skills; i.e. job coaching to facilitate the acquisition, and ongoing performance, of the essential functions of the job and the facilitation of natural supports (i.e. fading). Ongoing retention, supervision and monitoring of the person's performance; i.e. evaluating self-maintenance strategies, work production and the effectiveness of natural supports (i.e. fading) which promote the greatest degree of inclusion, integration and autonomy. Training in related skills needed to retain employment; i.e. supporting and facilitating strategies which promote attendance and social inclusion in the workplace based upon individualized assessed need such as using community resources and public transportation

Responsibilities :
- Ensure that staff have supplies needed to perform daily patient care.
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of examination, reception and staff work and break areas.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or clinic staff, including :
- Complete mandatory employee education requirements and participate in additional learning opportunities through Project RISE.

Starting Pay :
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.00 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home :
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
