Overview
The Business Analyst, Patient Care Services is responsible for the overall planning, management, and completion of data analysis and visualization that support Patient Care Services and its associated departments. These areas include nursing, respiratory therapy, and nutrition services primarily in the inpatient, intensive care, surgical, and emergency care spaces.Partners with senior leadership in support of program development, data analysis, and business management expertise to drive the execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives, and project plans for Patient Care Services. This position is a key contributor to the Patient Care Services Operational Excellence team and reports to the Director of Clinical Business Operations.

Responsibilities
- Leads in combining, developing, analyzing, and interpreting business and operational data to assist in planning, developing, and promoting key Patient Care Services initiatives, reporting, and benchmarking.
- Provides leaders and executives the business and operational data and strategic planning support needed to positively impact the services, programs, financial, and operational outcomes of Patient Care Services.
- Leads the application of data to process and improvement initiatives within Patient Care Services.
- Provides formal and informal education related to data-based operations; applying new knowledge and innovative strategies to advance improvements in Patient Care Services.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $29.54 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
