Position Summary Provide overall leadership for the system medical imaging services and biomed engineering departments. In collaboration with medical and administrative leadership, plans, organizes, and directs the management activities that support the operations, clinical care and compliance with all regulatory agencies. Initiates process and system improvement activities. Supports development and execution of medical imaging services business plan. Provides direction to management team to accomplish department's goals and meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
*Bachelors degree in a health or health care related focus required. Master's degree in health care administration or related degree preferred. *Experienced in FDA, ECRI, Joint Commission, CMS, MDH, NRC and all other applicable regulatory bodies as it applies to Medical Imaging and Biomedical Engineering. *Must be well versed in the creation of quality and safety programs demonstrating compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies. *Demonstrated success working with and leading multiple physician dyad partners (medical directors) in the advancement of medical imaging disciplines. *Demonstrated success in researching, recommending and analyzing state of the art imaging and medical equipment technology which serves the entire organization. Business plan development including ROI and pro forma analysis required for multi-million dollar equipment acquisitions. *Experience in medical imaging leadership at manager level (required) or Director/Assistant Medical imaging Director (preferred). *Knowledge of pediatric medical imaging services, health care administration, and finance acquired through at least eight years of progressive leadership experience. *Strong communication skills- both verbal and written. *Conflict resolution skills. *Customer service ethic. *Genuine employee reward and recognition ability. *Effective employee engagement skills. *Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities. *Business planning and execution ability. *Change management skills. *Ability to navigate external health care changes and interpret implications for local organizations. *Demonstrates critical thinking and expert decision making. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children’s Minnesota.
