Position Overview
The Senior Director, Channel Marketing oversees the strategic direction, creation, approval, distribution, and analysis of marketing content to and through the organization, its corporate partners, programs, communities, and events. This position actively creates a strategy that connects and amplifies our CMN Hospitals brand across those channels, while lifting the fundraising opportunities and the organization’s brand awareness. In addition to managing the overall strategy, they will also be required to manage and maximize a marketing channel as a working manager.
This position will oversee team members who specialize in key and specific channels, helping to maximize fundraising campaigns and partnerships while also amplifying the brand of CMN Hospitals. They are responsible for keeping the areas of the organization connected, actively seeking opportunities to collaborate, share resources, and support fundraising through multiple channels. They must work closely with the leaders of Brand and Communications to ensure that work moves quickly, efficiently, and effectively across both teams. They must be skillful in communication, collaboration, and relationship building to ensure all teams within the organization are engaged, and their needs are fulfilled, while also skillfully balancing the needs, resources, and limitations of the entire organization.

Core Duties
- Marketing –
- Create a collaborative partnership with internal teams to drive a marketing and communication plan in coordination with the fundraising strategy for current and prospective partners, hospitals, programs, and the organization.
- Collaborate, support and where needed lead, the marketing strategies within our signature events, ensuring that the organization's strategies are being highlighted and maximized in all aspects of events.
- Collaborate with the creative and campaign services teams to ensure fundraising and campaign materials have the greatest impact to increase both fundraising and awareness for CMN Hospitals.
- Leadership – Manage, coach, develop, and lead a team of individuals who will lead marketing efforts to increase our fundraising support and CMN Hospitals brand awareness to and through key channels including current and prospective partners, hospitals, programs, and the organization.
- Market Intelligence - Create and steward relationships with marketing counterparts in partner organizations.
- Marketing Campaign Development - Support fundraising campaigns, current and prospective partnerships, programs, and industry and signature events to ensure we’re maximizing the opportunities to share the CMN Hospitals brand, impact of funds, while capitalizing on the ability to donate or support the organization.
- Brand Positioning – Collaborate with the Communication team to ensure the overall brand strategies are incorporated into all marketing channels and messaging.
- Project Management and Budgeting- Lead and work within cross-functional teams to determine strategies, budgets, and deadlines for campaigns or projects. Once goals are established, this position is expected to serve as a leader across the organization in ensuring plans are fully executed and maximized.
- Marketing Impact Assessment - Leverage data to evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives to improve future performance.
- Philanthropy Program Management- Support the planning, promotion, and execution of philanthropic initiatives to strengthen community impact and align with organizational goals.
- Events – Attend and support signature events, serving as a key stakeholder to ensure marketing is consistent with the larger brand strategy and the events are executed well.
- Community Partnership and Engagement - Engage customers and communities through marketing plans in multiple ways, through promoting activities, recognizing milestones, and communicating results.
- Content Creation - Support the process by collecting content for video, graphic design, copywriting and/or social media to support organizational needs.
Salary : $97,000 - $123,000
