Initiate the procurement process of assigned areas and commodities to make available materials, supplies and services that the organization requires in its operation. Other related duties not specifically mentioned may also be performed depending on operational needs.
Qualifications : Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's or equivalent experience in a related field. At least 4 years college coursework in Merchandising or Business (Required)

Ensure availability of supplies as expected
- Examine and evaluate purchase requisition prior to processing; assess the need of departments; process purchase orders, follow up on back orders and other staff inquiries promptly .
Achieve cost savings for designated assigned areas / stock items and commodities
Data analysis of proposals and bidding documents for contract award
Maintain good vendor relations serving as a liaison and resource to hospital staff
