Job Summary
Children’s Neuropsychological Services (CNS) is seeking a clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, or doctoral-level school psychologist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone recently out of graduate school, pursuing licensure, or interested in a clinical postdoctoral placement. The role focuses primarily on neuropsychological and psychological assessments for children and adolescents, with opportunities to expand into lifespan evaluations, including forensic assessments and higher education accommodations through our Neuropsychological Consulting Services (NCS) branch.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments and evaluations children and adolescents.
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized tests measuring cognitive, academic, emotional, and neurodevelopmental functioning.
- Provide detailed feedback to families, schools, and referring physicians, including written reports and verbal consultations.
- Participate in supervision sessions with a board-certified neuropsychologist and other team members.
- Work closely with families to support their understanding of developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Offer consultation to schools, including guidance on educational planning and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Attend and contribute to monthly clinical meetings and case discussions on neurodevelopmental and psychological topics.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychology.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of development as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessment tools for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Ability to administer, score, and interpret standardized measures across cognitive, academic, emotional, and neurodevelopmental domains.
- Exceptional written communication skills for producing detailed, family- and school-friendly reports.
- Strong verbal communication skills to deliver feedback and consult with families, schools, and other professionals.
- Proficiency in identifying and addressing a range of neurodevelopmental conditions, including learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and neurological conditions.
- Familiarity with evidence-based intervention strategies and educational accommodations.
- Organizational and time-management skills to balance clinical workload and deadlines.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Interest or experience in school consultation, professional development, or lifespan evaluations (preferred).
- Willingness to learn and integrate supervision feedback into practice.
- Commitment to providing family-centered care within an evidence-based framework.
