About the Practice: Children's Neuropsychological Services is a small dedicated pediatric neuropsychology practice focused on providing exceptional care and comprehensive evaluations to children with neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions. We are seeking an Office Assistant/Receptionist to assist with patient communication and scheduling, and contribute to our mission of delivering the highest quality care to our clients. The hours are somewhat flexible, ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week, 4 to 5 days per week, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. There is room for growth and potential full-time work over time. The ideal candidate will be career oriented and interested in advancing their career in office administration.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in multiple roles: tracking insurance claims, managing billing and contracts, and keeping our administrative systems running smoothly. This is a part-time (20–30 hour/week) position that requires attention to detail, independence, and comfort with healthcare systems.
Education: Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary. Relevant experience and strong organizational skills are more important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing and insurance processing.Reception and phone
- Contract coordination
- Use practice management software
- Utilize Excel for data management and report creation, and Microsoft Word Adobe for document preparation and management
- Patient scheduling.
- Edit and manage Adobe fillable forms
- Administer QuickBooks for financial management
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in office support, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Prior medical billing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for communicating with patients and professionals.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Adobe fillable form editing, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and resolve challenges efficiently.
- Prior experience in handling payroll services, preferably ADP.
