We’re a busy pediatric orthopedic practice looking for a Medical Billing Manager to lead our revenue cycle team and keep our billing operations running smoothly. If you love problem-solving, mentoring a team, and diving into denials, we want to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
Lead and support a team of billing specialists.
Oversee the full billing cycle from claims submission to collections.
Resolve complex denials, appeals, and insurance issues.
Collaborate with front desk, verification, coding, and clinical teams.
Track KPIs (A/R, denial rates, resolution times) and drive performance improvements.
Handle escalated patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
Lead and support a team of billing specialists.

What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of medical billing experience (including 1 in a leadership role)
Strong in claims, coding, AR follow-up, and payer rules
CPC, CPB, or willing to certify within 2 years
Experience with AthenaPractice, Encoda, or Phreesia a plus
Florida resident, able to work on-site in St. Petersburg 3 days/week
Bonus if you know Florida Medicaid or have experience in orthopedics
