At the forefront of delivering exceptional care to infants, toddlers, and their families, we are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive support and guidance to caregivers, empowering them to foster healthy development and well-being in young children.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of early childhood development and is equipped with the skills to navigate the complexities of family systems, trauma-informed care, and culturally sensitive practice. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with early childhood educators, social workers, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to conduct family-centered screenings, evaluations, and assessments.
  • Educate caregivers on various aspects of child development, taking into account individual, cultural, and community differences.
  • Provide culturally relevant support in home environments, utilizing a coaching model that promotes overall health and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Licensed mental health professional in the state of Washington or ability to practice under supervision and obtain licensure.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
