Summary

We are offering a $1000.00 sign-on bonus to new, full-time, staff hired on, $250.00 to be paid at 6 month anniversary, and $750.00 after one year anniversary of employment.

We at Children’s Treehouse Childcare and Preschool are looking for someone who is energetic and caring to join our team! The right candidate will be creative, flexible, knowledgeable in child development, and enjoy working with children. This position is responsible for, coordinating the classroom curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Our staff must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.

We are seeking full-time applicants for about 35-40 hours a week. With available hours between 7 : 00 am- 6 : 00 pm. Four or five days a week. You will work four, 10-hour days and have one day off each week or five, 8-hour days! Pay range based on experience qualifications, plus many benefits including a childcare discount!

Duties

  • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
  • Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
  • Supervise children during play times to ensure a safe environment is being kept.
  • Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuing education requirements are met.
  • Follow the rules, guidelines, and schedule set by the lead teacher.

Requirements

  • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
  • A strong understanding of child development.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Infant / child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must clear full background check
  • Ability to work in multiple classrooms with all ages within the center.
  • Teaching : 1 year (Preferred)
  • Childcare : 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience with children : 1 year (Preferred)
