Children's House Montessori School is looking for an assistant teacher to work Monday-Friday in one of our mixed aged classrooms. We are looking for someone to join our team environment who enjoys helping children learn and develop, loves hugs, and working in a fast paced environment. This position will work with children ages 2-5 years old.
As an assistant teacher, you’ll help to create a fun and safe environment for children as they explore and learn through purposeful play that nurtures their social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development.
Duties include but not limited to:
-Reading/singing with children
-Assisting with snack time
-Carrying out classroom activities
-Supervising children in the nap room
-Assisting with diaper changes
-Classroom cleaning
