Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervision of day to day operations of Children's Transport team ensuring high quality care delivery and exceptional customer service.
- Current License by the State of Wisconsin as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with current RRT credential or current license by the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse and remain current with credential or must possess current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care related field required or Bachelor's Science Nursing.
- Current CPR certification Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required. Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training is required.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training is required. Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) training is required.
- Three or more years of respiratory care or critical care nursing experience required.
- Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of quality improvement methods and techniques.
- Epic ASAP and Epic Rover experience preferred.
- Meets health and weight requirements for flying in the FW and RW.
- Transport team must meet height requirements of not greater than 6ft 2in., not less than 4 ft 10 in.
- Transport team members must maintain a mission ready weight less than 245 pounds.
- Mission ready is defined as your weight including the flight suit, boots, helmet with liner, coat with liner, and any other personal items that you carry.
- Requirements are subject to annual review with one year advance notice to change.
- In the Fixed Wing/Rotor Wing/Ambulance, must be able to lift/carry 65 pounds, push/pull up to 40 pounds occasionally, reach overhead moderately, climb moderately, squat/bend/kneel occasionally, sit/stand moderately, walk/move about frequently, tolerate tight quarters, small spaces and sit in a confined space.
