Children's Castle Child Care Inc. a well established child care center is looking for a Director of a child care and early childhood development center serving children from birth-12 years of age for an exciting leadership opportunity at our educational child care center.
We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter with a high level of energy, strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements:-
- Level III or Level II North Carolina Early Childhood Administrator Credential (NCECAC)
- 1 years of applicable experience in a licensed child care center or pre-school
- Bachelor's Degree /Associate Degreein Early Childhood Education or equivalent work experience required
- Must meet NC specific licensing requirements for the role
Responsibilities:
- Manage all operations including hiring and management of staff, quality assurance and customer relations
- Develop a strong relationship with staff, parents and our community
- Respond and follow up on enrollment inquiries and conduct tours for prospective parents- Ensure compliance with state laws, policies and procedures
- Plan and lead staff meetings, training sessions, open houses, and planning sessions
- Interact and maintain strong working relations with state licensing consultants and vendors
- Recruit and train qualified employees
- Anticipate staffing needs and prepare/post weekly staffing schedule to ensure staffing requirements are met at all times
- Evaluate staff on a quarterly basis, complete written performance summaries, and counsel on performance issues when required
- Complete all required paperwork and record keeping on a timely basis including student, personnel, and health and safety files
- Review lesson plans and daily sheets to ensure compliance with our curriculum and program standards
