What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Pharmacist position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
Responsible for providing specialized pharmaceutical services to include advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations; and participate in the development and delivery of continuing education programs for Pharmacy, Patient Care Services, Medical staff and students.

A Doctor of Pharmacy degree with completion of a clinical pharmacy residency is preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
The individual should be familiar with and / or have experience in the administration and direction of clinical pharmacy services and be well versed in current concepts and principles of institutional pharmacy practice.
Must possess a current Pharmacy license issued by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy and a Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
